I'm not quite sure where my interest first started in this particular industry. I think it started with messing with computer games using console tweaks, trying to gain that little edge over everybody else. From there it pretty much turned into modifying my operating system (Windows XP at the time). Naturally this ended up with me breaking things...a lot, but I always managed to find a way to fix it.
Somewhere around the end of Junior year of High School, it hit me that I'm fairly good at this stuff and I was having fun with it. (Working AND having fun at the same time?! Ya don't say!) So I figured I may as well see if I can make a career out of it in some way, and it was off to Champlain College I went!
Fast forward to present day and here I am, I've continued to refine my knowledge in many aspects of computer systems and networking and just recently have started to narrow down my focus. Recently I've really taken an interest in Digital Forensics, I've found that taking a forensic investigation and looking at it with a security eye makes things a lot more interesting and efficient.
